Fruit Tree

Wanting to start growing your own fruit trees but don’t know where to start? Join Dr. Derek Plotkowski from Michigan State University Extension as he takes us through a year in the orchard. He will cover topics ranging from site and variety selection, to planting tips, and crop protection for different fruit trees suitable to Michigan. A great informative seminar to get you feeling confident about being successful in your home orchards.
Embroidery Basics Make-N-Take

Learn how to embroider with Wild Daisy Creative! In this class, you will learn about the tools and supplies necessary to begin hand embroidering! Several basic embroidery stitches will be taught throughout this workshop. We will work together while learning stitches on a cute canvas tote bag to take home. Along with your tote, you’ll go home with an embroidery hoop, needle, needle threader, and your choice of thread colors to continue using to complete any remaining parts of your project at home. Grab a friend and learn something new together!
Botanical Bingo

What better way to start the new gardening season than with some new indoor plants while we anxiously await the outdoor planting season! Grab a friend and join us as we share laughs, plants, and a great time in the greenhouse! Light snacks and refreshments will be provided. Must be 18 or older to attend. Attendees 21 and old may bring a drink of choice if they would like.
Succulent Workshop

Seed Saving 101 with Bevin Cohen

Learn how to save the seeds from your flowers, vegetables and herbs to use them for next year in this informative program with author and seed farmer Bevin Cohen. Using a combination of engaging demonstrations, discussion, and lecture, Bevin will guide you through multiple seed saving techniques so you are able to use your harvest to have seeds for next year’s gardens.
DIY Herbal Salves with Bevin Cohen

Learn how to handcraft a topical medicinal salve from a high-quality herb infused oil. Bevin will share how to choose the right herbs and oils for your salve, and then demonstrate how to make this useful herbal product. Attendees will be able to take home their own herbal salve to enjoy!
Kiss My Glass

Join us as we welcome Kiss My Glass, LLC to Campbell’s Greenhouses and create your very own fused glass garden stake! Learn the techniques and steps to make beautiful garden décor for your backyard. You’ll be learning how to cut glass for your creations during this workshop, or you can utilize pre-cut pieces available. All materials are provided, and no experience needed. Create a stake design using a template we have available, or bring your creative side and make a design of your own! All projects will be kiln fired by the instructor and will be delivered back to the greenhouse by April 30 th for pick up.
Focaccia Bread Art Class

You can discover how easy it is to make homemade focaccia bread while turning it into a beautiful, edible masterpiece! In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to decorate focaccia using herbs and vegetables to create scenic, floral, or abstract designs that are both gorgeous, and delicious! You’ll be creating your focaccia dough to take home and bake fresh in your own oven. PLEASE BRING to class: a mixing bowl, spatula, and a 12 oz. can of beer of your choice.
